My recent stay at Auberge Du Point Sublime was a delightful experience, perfectly situated near the mouth of the Gorges du Verdon and just a short uphill walk to the quaint village of Rougon. The staff excelled at professionalism and went above and beyond by arranging a taxi service to transport our packs to the next destination, allowing us to hike the Gorge unburdened. The hotel's value proposition is solid, offering free parking and welcoming pets without issue. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's rest. The private terrace boasted stunning views that made for a relaxing spot to unwind. The on-site restaurant served up interesting and delicious dishes, making dinner a highlight of our stay. Although the amenities were not extravagant, the warm welcome and genuine hospitality of the staff added a touch of luxury to the experience. The setting of the hotel—with its magnificent terrace overlooking the canyon—offered a unique blend of charm and tranquility.
